Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Tuesday has permitted Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal to travel to the United States from November 2 to 15.

Maliwal had sought permission to travel abroad to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York from November 4 to 8 and to visit her ailing sister in the United States.

Currently, Maliwal is on bail in a case related to alleged irregularities in recruitment within the Delhi Commission for Women.

Earlier this month: Swati Maliwal has challenged the lower court’s order of framing of charges in the Delhi High Court.
