Supreme Court to Lower Court there are so many cases to be herard to day but some of them are very important cases, let us see court at a Galance:

  • Supreme Court to hear petition challenging a caste-based census being undertaken by the Bihar government. A bench of Justice BR Gavai and Justice Vikram Nath will hear the matter. Three petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court against the caste census in Bihar. Akhilesh Kumar, Hindu Sena president Vishnu Gupta and NGO “Ek Soch Ek Prayas” have filed a petition seeking cancellation of the notification issued by the state government on June 6 for caste census in Bihar.
  • Supreme Court to hear plea by Leena Manimekalai seeking clubbing and quashing of multiple FIRs registered against her in various states over a poster of her upcoming documentary film showing goddess Kali smoking a cigarette. The plea seeks to club and quash the FIRs registered against her in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand over the poster, which shows Manimekalai herself dressed as goddess Kali and smoking a cigarette while holding a pride flag.
  • Supreme Court to hear the plea file by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) challenging Bombay High Court order granting bail to NCP leader Anil Deshmukh
  • The Delhi High Court Continue to hear arguements on the bail plea filed by Delhi Jailed Minister Satyender Jain and 2 others in a money laundering
  • The Delhi high Court to hear bail plea of Gurupada Maji in connection with its money laundering case investigation linked to an alleged coal mining scam in West Bengal. According to ED, Gurupada Maji is one of the partners of Anup Majee, the kingpin of illegal coal mining business activities in West Bengal.
  • The Delhi high Court to hear the bail plea of Investigation Officer Kamta Prasad Singh seeking extension of interim bail, he was IO of the case of custodial death of father of Unnao rape victim
