The Satna court of Madhya Pradesh completed the hearing in the sensational case of heinous murder in just 17 months and sentenced the culprit to life imprisonment.
The Additional Sessions Judge Indukant Tiwari convicted the accused Suraj alias Durgesh Chaudhary under section 302. While sentencing him to life imprisonment, the court also imposed a fine of Rs.1500 on the accused.
According to the police, there was a dispute between the children in Ramna Tola on July 16, 2021 at around 7 pm. Durgesh alias Suraj Chaudhary started abusing and fighting with Dharmendra Chaudhary near Lovely School in Ramna Tola at around 11 pm. Suraj alias Durgesh Chowdhary and his accomplice Rajkumar thrashed Dharmendra badly. Meanwhile, Durgesh Chowdhary stabbed Dharmendra Chowdhary in the stomach, back and ribs and Dharmendra died during treatment.
Declaring Rajkumar Chaudhary, another accused in this case as an absconder, the court has issued a permanent arrest warrant against him on December 14 this year.
