The gang war has begun inside the Tihar jail. The Gangster named Tillu Tajpuriya, a prime conspirator of the Rohini shootout in September 2021 has been killed in today morning by his rivals.
According to prison officials, around 6:30 a.m. the incident took place. He was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital and was declared dead at that very moment.
Akshat Kaushal, Additional DCP West District, Delhi Police stated that “This morning, information was received from DDU Hospital regarding two undertrial prisoners who were brought to the hospital from Tihar Jail.
Sunil Mann alias Tilu was one of them who was brought in an unconscious state. He has declared dead later. Rohit, other person is out of danger now.
The police stated that a prisoner named Yogesh Tunda was lodged in Jail No. 8 where the other members of rival gang attacked Tillu, who lodged in Jail No. 9.
The official said that “Yogesh alias Tunda and Deepak alias Teetar attacked Tillu Tajpuriya by breaking the iron grills of the ward which separated both gangs in the same ward.”
Last year on September 24, 2 shooters shot and killed Jitendra Gogi in Rohini Court No. 207 during a shootout.
Furthermore, the sources said, a day before the Rohini shootout, (shooters) Umang and Jagdeep took weapons from a crook named Rakesh Tajpuria in Murthal.
Additionally, sources said that, “Then on the same day, Umang and Jagdeep took the dress of lawyers from a person near AIIMS. Meanwhile, Tillu was in constant touch with both of them through WhatsApp calls from jail.”
