Rajasthan: Sikar sessions court sentenced life imprisonment to 3 including killer wife

The Sessions Court of Sikar on Saturday sentenced the three accused Laxmi, Banwari and Krishna Kumar to life imprisonment in the two-year-old murder case. Along with this, the court has also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on both the convicts.  Additional Sessions Judge of Seekar, Raina Sharma has said that this is a gruesome example of death of close relationships.

It not only creates a situation of anarchy but also shows disrespect to the sovereignty of the state.

On January 12, 2021, the dead body of the young man Boduram (deceased husband) was found lying in front of Balaji temple, about 2 kilometers away from his village Dantaramgarh. On information, the police reached and took the dead body into custody. The jaw and throat of the deceased were attacked with a sharp weapon.

The police started investigating the matter. The police suspected the wife of the deceased. In the investigation, the police came to know that Boduram’s wife was living in her mother’s house for two years. When the police interrogated her, she confessed to all the crime. She told the police that she along with her lover and her nephew had killed her husband. The police arrested all the accused and produced them to Justice. After completion of the trial, the court found trio guilty and sentenced them to life imprisonment.
