Tunisha suicide: Vasai court Adjourns Bail Plea of Sheezan Khan, Fixes January 11 for hearing

Mumbai, Vasai Court in adjourned the hearing on the Bail Plea of Sheezan Khan, an accused in the Tunisha Sharma death case, till 11 January.
This is for the second time that Sheezan Khan’s bail plea has been adjourned by the court. Earlier, a court in Maharashtra’s Palghar district had adjourned the hearing of his bail application till 9 January.
In Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case, both advocates spoke to the media, and where Sheezan’s lawyer avoided repeating his arguments and claimed that Tunisha’s family and lawyer are misleading the police and even Sheezan’s lawyers mentions the presence of another person named “Ali” whereas Tunisha’s advocate said that the new arguments make it seem like a case of murder, not suicide.
Tarun Sharma, a family advocate of Tunisha Sharma stated: “We have asked for another date further & we’ll be keeping our perspective in the court on January 11.”
Tunisha’s mother accused Sheezan’s of abetment to suicide and claimed that the actor ‘used’ her daughter. Reportedly, the two actors dated each other and broke up just 15 days before the actress’ death.
Meanwhile, in a fresh statement earlier today, Tunisha Sharma’s mother Vanita Sharma blamed Sheezan for her daughter’s death and told the media, “It could be a suicide or a murder. I say this because Sheezan took her to a hospital far away. There were hospitals 5 minutes from the set. Why not take her to a closer one? She was breathing and could’ve been saved.”
Earlier this month, Sheezan’s family also held a press conference and claimed that the actor and Tunisha had a ‘very understanding relationship. They alleged that it was Tunisha’s mother who didn’t want the late actress to get married to Sheezan. Not just this, but Sheezan’s lawyer also alleged that it was the late actress’ mother who tried to strangle her once, and also alleged that her mother used to force her to work even though she wanted to enjoy life.
Earlier on January 2, Mumbai’s Vasai court had issued a notice to the police. The same was sent to judicial custody for 14 days by Mumbai’s Vasai court on December 31 last year. The police arrested him late at night on 24 December, after which he was produced in the Vasai court on 25 December. The same Tunisha’s postmortem report has also come to the fore, in which ‘suffocation’ has been described as the cause of death.
