“Courts,” which are supposed to be places of the highest level of protection, have endangered people’s lives owing to a lack of security. People had not even forgotten about the gunfire at Rohini Court; once again, the Saket Court complex trembled with the thunder of bullets today.

At 10:30 am, four to five shots were fired onto the court grounds, according to DCP (South) Chandan Chowdhary. The woman, who has been identified as M Radha, is in her 40, suffered two bullet injuries, one in the hand and another in the abdomen. She was taken to the Max Hospital in Saket.

The woman and the advocate are both now stable and out of danger.

Kameshwar Prasad Singh, alias Binod Singh, has been identified as the accused. The Bar Council suspended him after cheating cases were filed against him, according to the DCP (South).

There’s a monetary dispute between the accused and the victim, and it was scheduled for a hearing today in the Saket district court.

According to the DCP (South), the accused had complaints filed against him under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for allegedly defrauding the woman victim and an advocate named Rajendra Jha.
