Cattle Smuggling: Delhi Court Sends TMC Leader Anubrata Mondal’s Daughter To JC

The Rouse Avenue court recently sent TMC leader Anubrata Mondal’s daughter Sukanya Mondal to judicial custody till May 12 in a money laundering case related to alleged cattle smuggling.

Therefore, Sukanya was sent to jail after she was produced before the court on the expiry of her 3-day custodial interrogation.

Nitesh Rana (ED’s Special Public Prosecutor) told the court that the accused wasn’t required for any further investigation. Therefore, ED filed 2 charge sheets in the cattle smuggling case till now and has attached assets worth a total of Rs 20.25 crore.
