The Delhi High Court on Monday allowed accused businessman Sameer Mahendru to travel abroad once again.
The High Court has allowed Mahendru to leave the country between February 19 and 22 for business purposes.
During this period, he is permitted to visit Dubai to attend business meetings. The court also suspended the Look Out Circular (LOC) that had been issued against him, facilitating his international travel.
The order was passed by a bench led by Justice Vikas Mahajan, who considered the businessman’s request for travel.
Mahendru had earlier approached the High Court seeking a modification in his bail conditions, which had barred him from leaving India without prior approval.
Background of the Case
Last month, the High Court had granted Sameer Mahendru permission to travel abroad.
As per the bail conditions, he cannot leave the country without the court’s nod.
September 2024: HC granted bail to Mahendru in connection with the money laundering case.
