The Delhi High Court while quashing an FIR for alleged cheating and other offenses, has recently directed 3 persons including 2 accused and the complainant to distribute uniform socks worth Rs 48,000 to Delhi police personnel of 6 police stations.
The high court directed the 2 petitioners to deposit an amount of Rs 24,000 against whom the case was registered and the complainant each for purchasing the socks for the police personnel.
Furthermore, the high court passed the direction while quashing an FIR registered at Ashok Vihar police station in 2018.
Also, the bench noted that the parties have already settled their dispute and the complainant doesn’t want the pursue legal action against the petitioners.
The high court listed the matter for October 30 for compliance with the orders.
The socks will be distributed in equal quantities in police stations Keshav Puram, Bharat Nagar, Model Town, Ashok Vihar, Roop Nagar and Maurice Nagar.
