Delhi HC Orders Removal Of Videos Against Sadhguru, Isha Foundation

Isha Foundation

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday ordered the removal of recently uploaded videos against Sadhguru and the Isha Foundation.

The single judge bench of Justice Subramonium Prasad passed this interim order restraining YouTuber Shyam Meera Singh from publishing or sharing any such content.

The defamation suit was filed by the Isha Foundation against Shyam Meera Singh and social media intermediaries following the release of the video with thumbnail: ‘Sadhguru Exposed: What’s Happening Inside Jaggi Vasudev’s Ashram?’

The Isha Foundation’s counsel argued that the organization is a globally recognized trust, with over 16 million volunteers and 300 centers worldwide.

They contended that the video in question was defamatory and damaging to their reputation.
The main case is scheduled for hearing on July 9, while the interim plea will be heard on May 9.
