Delhi HC Quashes FIRs b/w Neighbours Over Pet Fight; Asks Them To Serve Pizza, Buttermilk To Kids

Pizza, Buttermilk

The Delhi High Court has recently ordered warring neighbours to serve pizzas and buttermilk to children and staff in a government-run childcare institution as a condition to quash police cases filed against each other.

Justice Arun Monga directed that the parties must serve Amul Chaach Tetra Pack along with mixed vegetable pizzas at Sanskar Ashram near GTB Hospital.

Court’s Unusual Settlement

Justice Arun Monga ordered that every child and staff member at the Ashram be served a mixed vegetable pizza and Amul Chaach (buttermilk). The judge noted that one of the complainants runs a pizza-baking business and decided to turn that into a form of community service.

“The pizzas shall be baked by the complainant … and the same shall be treated as the community service to be jointly carried out by all the complainants and the accused,” the order stated.

The investigating officer has been asked to ensure that the order is carried out.
