Justice Nongmeikapam Kotiswar Singh to take oath as Chief Justice of High Court Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh

J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to administer oath of Office to new Chief Justice

At present, Justice N Kotiswar Singh is serving as the Acting Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court since January 12, 2023

He was designated as a Senior Advocate by the Gauhati High Court in 2008. He served as the Advocate General of the State of Manipur from November 2007. Justice Kotiswar Singh was appointed as a Judge of the Gauhati High Court in November 2012. He served as the Acting Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court w.e.f. 21.09.2020 to 09.01.2021 and from 09.05.2022 to 22.06.2022.
