Kaushambi Court: Accused Convicted Of Kidnapping And Raping To 7 Years Imprisonment

On Tuesday, the Kaushambi court sentenced the man convicted of kidnapping and raping to 7 years imprisonment. When the convict heard the sentence, he started crying in the court.

The incident took place in January 2016 when the girl had gone out of the house for defecation. A resident of a village in Sarai Akil police station area informed the police that his 16-year-old daughter had been molested by a neighboring youth of the village. Shamim Ahmed abducted as well as the accused committed the rape of his daughter.

The victim’s Father complained to the police station, after which the police recovered her daughter. After the recovery of the victim teenager, the police filed a charge sheet against the accused Shamim Ahmed in the court. In the charge sheet, the police demanded severe punishment for the accused. The court imposed a fine of 7 years and 20 thousand on Shamim Ahmed. The convict wept after hearing the verdict of the court.
