Raja Bhaiya Divorce Case: Saket Court Grants Time To MLA’s Wife To File Written Submissions

Saket District Court on Tuesday has adjourned divorce case of Raghuraj Pratap Singh aka Raja Bhaiya (MLA from Janata Dal in Uttar Pradesh) and his wife Bhawani Singh’s until August 3rd.

Bhawani Singh was supposed to respond in the Saket Court in Delhi, but her counsel requested for a new date.

The divorce petition was filed by Raja Bhaiya. In response, the court issued a notice to Bhawani Singh.

Previously, Raja Bhaiya and Bhawani Singh got married in 1995 when Raja Bhaiya was around 25 years old, and they have four children together.

The dispute escalated to a point where Bhawani Singh’s brother, Akshay Pratap Singh, aka Gopal, was involved, and the matter reached the court.

Raja Bhaiya tried to resolve the matter within the family, but Bhawani Singh insisted on pursuing the legal case. As a result, Raja Bhaiya sided with his brother instead of his wife that leads for the divorce petition.

Currently, Bhawani Singh is living separately in her Delhi residence after parting ways with Raja Bhaiya.
