Shraddha murder case: Accused Aftab withdraws his bail plea from Saket court

The Accused in Shraddha murder case Aftab Poonawala on Thursday withdrew his bail application
from Delhi’s Saket Court.

The Saket court has also given permission to withdraw the bail petition.

The Delhi’s Saket court was hearing bail plea filed by Aftab Poonawal seeking bail in Shraddha murder case.

In the last hearing, when Aftab appeared in the court through video conferencing in Delhi’s Saket Court. Then Aftab said in the court that I had signed the Vakalatnama but was not aware that the lawyer would file bail.

Earlier Aftab Puna accused of Murder of Live in Partner Shraddha, has Filed Bail plea  in Saket District Court. As information are Coming Police has got Aftab Poonawal’s CFSL Reports and Prosecution will appose his bail when Court list the appeal. Poonawala’s counsel MS Khan had earlier moved the application before the court seeking bail to his client mentioning that police couldn’t find anything Concreat against his Client so he should granted Bail.

Delhi Police arrested Aftab Poonawalla on 12 November, while Shraddha’s father filed a complaint against him. Shraddha and Aftab were living as live-in partners in a rented house in Mehroli area. Aftab had killed Shraddha six months before his arrest. He chopped Sharda’s body into 35 parts and threw it at different places in Delhi. Police Has received CFSL and DNA Report also. On the basis of this report Police and Prosecution will appose his bail Appeal.
