Unnao Rape Case: Delhi High Court Granted Bail to Ex MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar

The Delhi High Court on Monday granted interim bail to former MLA Kuldeep Sengar, who is serving life sentence in a rape case, to attend his daughter’s wedding. The Delhi High Court has granted interim bail to Kuldeep Singh from January 27 to February 10. Kuldeep Singh Sengar had sought bail from the court to attend his daughter’s wedding. Sengar’s daughter is to be married on 8 February 2023, whose program will start from 18 January.

The case of rape came to light in the year 2017. On 20 December 2019, Sengar was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Unnao rape case.
