In a significant judicial reshuffle, the Allahabad High Court administration on Friday transferred 12 judicial officers at the District Judge level.
The transfers, aimed at enhancing the administrative and functional efficiency of the judiciary, were announced through a notification issued by Registrar General Rajeev Bharti.
Among the key transfers, Ramesh Chandra, the Chief Family Judge of Siddharthnagar, has been appointed as the Presiding Officer of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) in Barabanki. Similarly, Akhilesh Kumar Pathak, Chief Family Judge of Gazipur, will now take charge as the Presiding Officer of the MACT in Maharajganj.
Ashok Kumar Navam, formerly the Chief Family Judge of Farrukhabad, will serve as the Presiding Officer of the MACT in Sonbhadra. Mahendra Singh III, previously the Chief Family Judge of Bulandshahr, has been transferred to the MACT in Firozabad. Vipin Kumar I, Chief Family Judge of Agra, will now oversee the MACT in Mahoba, while Sudhir Kumar IV, who was the Presiding Officer of the Commercial Court No. 1 in Agra, has been assigned to the MACT in Hathras.
Rajesh Kumar Singh, the former Presiding Officer of the MACT in Mahoba, has been transferred to Hardoi in the same capacity. Manoj Kumar Agarwal, the Chief Family Judge of Aligarh, will now take charge as the Presiding Officer of the MACT in Jaunpur.
Bhagwan Dayal Bharti, Chief Family Judge of Kushinagar, has been appointed as the Chief Family Judge of Lakhimpur Kheri, while Vishwambar Prasad, previously the Presiding Officer of the MACT in Mau, has been transferred to serve as the Chief Family Judge of Bulandshahr.
Tripta Chaudhary, the Chief Family Judge of Lakhimpur Kheri, will now serve in the same capacity in Agra.
Randhir Singh, Chairman of the Commercial Tax Tribunal in Lucknow, has been appointed as the Chief Family Judge of Aligarh, and Shamshul Haq, the Presiding Officer of the MACT in Hardoi, has been posted as the Chief Family Judge in Fatehpur.
This reshuffle reflects the High Court’s ongoing efforts to streamline judicial operations and bolster the judiciary’s efficiency across Uttar Pradesh.
