Man Throws Acid On Wife Inside Court Complex In Tamil Nadu

A man threw acid on his wife inside court premises in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore today. The acid attack took place when the court was set to hear a case filed by the woman against her husband.

The woman, identified as Chitra, filed a case against her husband, Sivakumar. The woman was present in Coimbatore court before the commencement of the hearing. Where in a sudden move Sivakumar threw acid on her face. Police stated Sivakumar carried the acid to the court in a water bottle.

Lawyers present on the court premises immediately caught hold of Sivakumar. The police took charge when a huge crowd mobilized to attack the culprit. Therefore, a case was registered against Sivakumar for the acid attack on his wife.

Coimbatore Deputy Commissioner Sandheesh stated that “We have secured the accused. The man threw acid on his wife. He had brought it in a water bottle.”
