Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh initiates renewal process for expired practice certificates of advocates, requests them to submit renewal fee of Rs 500 and download the prescribed form from the official website.
According to Ravindra Sharma, the president of the Lawyers Association, advocates are required to submit a list of cases filed or contested in the years 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022, along with their current status. The completed form, verified by the president or general secretary of either the Kanpur Bar Association or the Lawyers Association, must be submitted to the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh in Allahabad.
Rakesh Sharma, the secretary of the Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh, confirmed the commencement of the certificate renewal process for the practice of advocates. Ravindra Sharma has requested the Bar Council to reduce the renewal fee, proposing it to be set at Rs 100 for the first time.
In the meantime, the advocates honored RK Sharma, a senior and veteran advocate, for his significant contributions to the implementation of welfare schemes for advocates.
