Allu Arjun’s Bail Hearing In Stampede Case Postponed To January 3

The hearing of actor Allu Arjun’s bail petition in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case has been postponed by the Nampally District Court in Hyderabad to January 3.

The case stems from an incident that took place on December 4, during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule, when a massive crowd gathered at Sandhya Theatre to catch a glimpse of the actor. Chaos ensued when Allu Arjun waved to fans from the sunroof of his car, resulting in the tragic death of a woman named Revathi and injuries to her child.

Following the incident, Allu Arjun was arrested but later granted bail after posting a bond of Rs.50,000.

On December 24, after 20 days in critical condition, the injured boy regained consciousness. Bhaskar, the father of the child, spoke to the media, expressing gratitude, “The child has responded today after 20 days. He is getting better. We are thankful for the support from Allu Arjun and the Telangana government.”

In an act of generosity, Allu Aravind, the film producer and father of Allu Arjun, announced a donation of Rs 2 crores for Sri Tej, the son of Revathi, who lost her life in the incident. The financial support is intended to aid the child’s recovery and provide for his future.

After meeting the boy, Allu Aravind shared the positive news, saying, “We are pleased to hear from the doctors that the boy is recovering well. He has been taken off the ventilator, and doctors are optimistic about his condition.”

Allu Aravind further explained the financial contribution, stating, “To assist the family and the child’s future, we decided to provide Rs.2 crores. This includes Rs.1 crore from Allu Arjun, Rs.50 lakh from the producers, and Rs.50 lakh from the director.”

This tragic event has prompted strong support from Allu Arjun and his family, alongside assistance from local authorities, as they work together to support the affected family during their difficult time.
