The President has recently appointed Justices Ujjal Bhuyan and SV Bhatti as judges of the Supreme Court.

Justice Bhuyan is the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court and Justice Bhatti is the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court.
The top Court has a strength of 32 judges out of the sanctioned strength of 34.
At the Supreme Court, Justice Bhuyan will have a term till August 2, 2029 and Justice Bhatti till May 6, 2027.
