Controversy Over Alleged Removal Of Temple At MP Chief Justice’s Bungalow: Register General Refutes Claim, Bar Association Responds

In a fresh development over the allegations of the demolition of Lord Hanuman temple in the Bungalow of Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, the HC Register General has completely and vehemently denied such claims.

In an official statement, Register General Dharminder Singh labeled these allegations as ‘misleading and entirely false’.

Singh said that the Public Works Department (PWD) had clarified the matter, asserting that no temple had ever been located at the bungalow.

Last week, the HC Bar Association had demanded a serious probe into this matter by Chief Justice of India.

He said that the public works department already settled the issue by revealing that there was no temple on the land.

However, the Bar Association has responded strongly to this press release.

The President of HC Bar Association Dhanya Kumar Jain said that the press release is ‘meaningless’ and ‘lacking substantial facts.’

He demanded review of the matter by the Chief Justice of India.

Jain also questioned the credibility of the PWD probe into the matter.

Jain further said that the Registrar General works under the Chief Justice of the High Court.
