Cricketer Mohammed Shami Gets Good news, Alipore Court Grants Bail

Cricketer Mohammed Shami

The Alipore court in Kolkata has recently granted bail to cricketer Mohammed Shami on a ₹2,000 bail bond.

Shami appeared before the Kolkata’s Alipore ACJM court physically and took bail.

Based on the FIR filed by Hasin Jahan in Jadavpur police station in 2018, a case had been filed against Mohammad Shami and some of his family members. Legal proceedings were initiated against Shami.

Previously, the court asked Shami to appear before the court and take bail. Back in 2018, Shami was accused by his ex-wife Hasin Jahan of domestic violence and she filed a case in a lower court.

Mohammed Shami appeared in court for the 1st time in the bride torture case. Before the World Cup 2023, to be played from October 5, the Indian cricketer appeared in court on Tuesday, September 19 and applied for bail. The judge granted the plea and granted bail.

On August 23, the Alipur Additional Sessions Judge ordered that the court didn’t find any necessary reason behind summoning Shami in view of Hasin’s complaint. So, he doesn’t have to appear in court for the time being.

However, within the next 30 days, the Indian cricketer will have to apply to the trial court for further proceedings in this case.

During this period, he can apply for bail. The trial court will decide on Shamir’s bail according to the law. Following this order, Shami appeared in the court, and was granted bail.
