Kannada actor Sudeep Sanjeev has recently initiated legal action by filing a defamation lawsuit against producers MN Kumar and NM Suresh.

He provided a statement before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court.

The actor presented himself before the court presided over by Judge Venkanna Basappa Hosamani and furnished his statement.

Sudeep elucidated that the two producers propagated baseless allegations about him during a press conference.

The allegations pertains to financial transactions associated with the construction of a residence in Rajarajeshwarinagar.

Sudeep asserted that the impugned allegations have triggered considerable skepticism among numerous individuals, causing substantial damage to his reputation.

Judge Hosamani inquired whether Sudeep would consider withdrawing the legal action if the producers expressed regret and reached a mutual settlement.
