Delhi Police Arrests Minor Boy for Raping 7-YO Girl

The Delhi Police has apprehended a 16-year-old boy for raping a 7-year-old girl in South Delhi.

The Lodhi Colony police station received information about the incident on Sunday.

The victim’s mother informed the police that a 16-year-old boy from their neighborhood sexually assaulted her daughter at his residence approximately three to four days ago.

The girl underwent a medical examination, and an FIR under section 376 AB (rape on a woman under twelve years of age) of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) was filed.

“We have apprehended the juvenile and placed him in an observation home. Further investigation is ongoing,” stated a police officer.
