Delhi Police Held Self Defence Trainer Who Sexually Assaulted Minor School Girl

An 11-year-old student at a government school in Sultanpuri, outer Delhi, was allegedly sexually assaulted in her classroom on Friday by a self-defense trainer, Satish (45).

The trainer, who was offering free self-defense classes through an NGO, was not a regular teacher at the school.

The incident sparked protests outside the police station, with the victim’s family and neighbors demanding action.

According to the victim’s father, she called him in the afternoon, saying her sports teacher had touched her inappropriately and threatened her during the class.

The family reported the incident to the school principal and local police.

Police received the report of sexual harassment at 12:12 pm on Friday. A case has been filed under sections 351 (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act at Sultanpuri police station.

The girl is currently undergoing counseling and a medical examination. Further investigation is ongoing.
