Former minister Swati Singh in the Yogi government and Minister Dayashankar Singh’s marital relationship is over now. The divorce of both has been recently approved by the court. Lucknow’s Additional Chief Justice Devendra Nath Singh has given his order on March 28 in which a divorce petition was filed regarding the marriage that took place on May 18, 2001.

Earlier, Former minister Swati Singh filed the application in the year 2012.

In the year 2012, Swati Singh filed a divorce application, but this application was rejected by the court due to her absence. According to senior advocate Padmakirti, Swati Singh filed an application in the court in March 2022 demanding the resumption of the case.

In fact, the relationship between Dayashankar Singh and Swati Singh lay in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad when both were active in it. It is said that Swati Singh was studying MBA in Allahabad and Dayashankar Singh was a big leader in the student politics of Lucknow University. The interaction between the two increased in the programs of the Council. Since both were residents of Ballia, their relationship grew stronger.

Furthermore, both decided to get married and tied the knot. Later Swati Singh registered for Ph.D. in Lviv and started teaching here. At that time, the brother-sister-in-law relationship between the students associated with Dayashankar Singh and the workers of Vidyarthi Parishad has been of sweet memories.

Later, people also came to hear of heated arguments between the two.
