According to police on Thursday a man was murdered and two women were injured after being hit by a car driven by a drunk doctor in Rajasthan’s Nagaur.
The accused doctor, identified as YS Negi, has been arrested, Nagaur Circle Officer Vinod Sipa said. The doctor was so drunk that he ran over the three and hit an ambulance parked there at a district hospital.
According to the report, a doctor came in an inebriated state on the premises of JLN Hospital where he ran his car over three people. Bhanwarlal Meghwal, a resident of Chenar, died on the spot. Najma, a resident of Nagaur, was badly injured. One woman has suffered serious injuries.
A case has been filed against the doctor, and he has been arrested, the CO said.
