Father of Minor Involved in Pune Porsche Crash Faces Additional Cheating Charges

Pune Porsche Crash

Another instance of cheating has been lodged against the father of the underage boy purportedly implicated in the Porsche car collision that occurred on May 19 in Pune, stated a police official.

The collision resulted in the fatalities of two IT professionals when their motorcycle was struck by a speeding Porsche driven by the minor, allegedly under the influence, in Kalyani Nagar on that day. The father, identified as a real estate developer, alongside the grandfather, mother, and others, are currently incarcerated in connection to the incident.

Complaint Lodged

Vishal Adsul, a resident of Nancy Brahma Residency in Pimpri Chinchwad, filed a complaint with the Wakad police, alleging that the juvenile’s father had failed to allocate open space to the residential society and had undertaken the development of two additional wings without consent, according to the official.

Following Adsul’s complaint, an offense was registered under sections 420 (cheating) and 409 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code, as well as pertinent provisions of the Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act, against the juvenile’s father and four others, the official mentioned.

Building Irregularities: Society’s Grievances

“As per Adsul’s complaint, Brahma Associates did not provide open space to the project and allocated only one open plot to the three buildings by purportedly altering the plans. Additionally, it allegedly proceeded without obtaining the society’s permission while erecting two 11-storied buildings on the society’s land,” stated the Pimpri Chinchwad police official.

Subsequent to their arrest in the car accident case, the father and grandfather of the juvenile were implicated in two separate cases related to abetment of suicide of a 41-year-old man and defrauding a real estate agency proprietor, according to the police.

The juvenile’s father is currently in police custody for his purported involvement in the substitution of blood samples taken for tests to verify alcohol consumption as part of the Porsche crash case investigation.
