Hyderabad Woman Booked For Sexually Assaulting Teen Boy

sexually assault of minor boy

A 28-year-old woman working as a domestic help has been recently arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor boy (17-year-old) in Jubilee Hills.

The accused lived in the servant quarters of her employer, adjacent to where the boy’s family lived. The crime came into view after the minor’s mother, who works as a maid in the same house, filed a police complaint.

Furthermore, the cops stated that the accused, an unmarried woman, sexually assaulted the boy more than once between March & April. The abuse was first discovered when the manager of the house witnessed the accused kissing the boy and informed his mother.

What was stated in the Complaint?

In her complaint, his mother stated, “On April 29 evening, the manager informed me that he saw the accused woman kissing my son at the servant quarters. I went there and confronted her. She said my son was like a younger brother to her, and she had kissed him out of affection. I reprimanded her and warned her against repeating such behaviour. When I prodded my son, he cried but didn’t say anything about the crime.”

However, on May 1 afternoon, when boy’s parents asked him again if the accused had misbehaved with him earlier, he revealed that she forced herself on him twice, and even threatened him with false accusations of theft if he disclosed the sexual assault.

On May 1 night, the boy’s mother approached Jubilee Hills Police and a case was registered under BNS Section 351(2) (criminal intimidation), and Section 9(1) read with Section 10 of POCSO Act.

Jubilee Hills inspector K Venkateshwar Reddy stated, “We have arrested the accused. She was produced before a local court and sent in judicial remand on Friday.”

Cops stated that the minor was sent for counselling to the Bharosa Centre. His condition was stable.
