Jharkhand High Court judge Justice Kailash Prasad Deo passed away on Friday.
In honour of the departed soul, the Jharkhand High Court, its offices, and subordinate court activities in the State will remain suspended today.
The information notice issued by High Court read, “It is for information to all concerned that the business of the High Court of Jharkhand and its Offices as well as Subordinate Courts of the State shall remain closed on 22nd September 2023, as a mark of respect to the departed soul of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Kailash Prasad Deo, Judge, High Court of Jharkhand, Ranchi.”
Back in year 2017, the Supreme Court collegium recommended appointing Justice Deo as a judge of the High Court when he was working as a lawyer in the State.
