Delhi’s Rohini court on Thursday Dismissed the bail application of accused Ashutosh in the Kanjhawala case. The court in its order said that the investigation against Ashutosh is still in the initial stages. During the hearing, the Delhi Police opposed the bail plea of Ashutosh. The Delhi Police had said that Ashutosh had misled the investigation and given shelter to other accused. Ashutosh’s lawyer said that he was not present in the car at the time of the incident. After which the court had reserved the verdict on Ashutosh’s bail plea.
Eariler the court had asked Delhi police to file a reply on the bail plea of Ashutosh Bhardwaj. On the other hand, advocate Shilpesh Chaudhary for accused Ashutosh had pressed his plea for bail.
The counsel submitted that the section against the accused are 201, 212, and 120B part 2 and these sections are bailable in nature.
