17-year-old boy named Kunal was stabbed in the Seelampur area of Delhi on Friday. He was immediately taken to the hospital but sadly died during treatment. The case has sparked public anger and calls for justice.
Delhi Police have registered a case at the Seelampur police station. According to officials, most of the suspects involved in the attack have already been identified. Search teams have been formed to catch the remaining accused as quickly as possible.
Soon after the news spread, Kunal’s family and local residents gathered on the streets in protest. They blocked a nearby road and demanded immediate action from the police. In response, authorities increased police presence in the area to avoid any further unrest.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi criticized the BJP-led central government over the incident. In a post on social media platform X, she wrote,
“The murder of a 17-year-old youth in Seelampur is another example of the deteriorating law and order situation in Delhi. What is the Delhi Police doing? What is Home Minister Amit Shah doing? What is the double-engine government doing?”
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari also reacted to the murder, calling it “extremely concerning.” He said he has been in touch with senior police officials and assured that the attackers would be caught and punished soon.
He posted, “The criminals may try to hide anywhere, but they will be arrested soon and will get severe punishment.”
Tiwari appealed to residents to stay calm and allow the police to do their work. He also announced that he would visit the area at 2:30 PM to meet the victim’s family and offer full support
