Naval Officer Arrested for Forging Docs for Illegal South Korea Migration

A Naval officer has been arrested for allegedly forging documents to facilitate illegal migration to South Korea, according to a Mumbai police official.

On 27th June, Lt Cdr Vipin Kumar Dagar (28) was apprehended in Colaba by the Crime Branch. He is suspected of being a member of a gang involved in sending people illegally to South Korea using forged documents.

“His associates have admitted to sending 8-10 people to South Korea, charging up to Rs 10 lakh per case. Dagar, the son of an Air Force official from Haryana, is remanded in police custody until July 5,” the official stated.
