Passenger Arrested For Misbehaving With Cabin Crew On Delhi-Hyderabad SpiceJet Flight

A man named Absar Alam was arrested on Monday after allegedly misbehaving with an air hostess on a SpiceJet flight from Delhi to Hyderabad.

After allegedly misbehaving with an air hostess, two passengers traveling together were offloaded and handed over to police at IGI Airport Delhi. However, one man was arrested.

Absar Alam, the accused passenger, was arrested after a SpiceJet security officer filed a complaint. An FIR has also been filed under the various sections of IPC.

The accused is seen shouting at a cabin crew member in a purported video of the incident that has surfaced on social media. Another passenger can be seen supporting the accused. A few passengers can also be seen attempting to intervene and end the argument. The video was allegedly shot by a passenger on a flight from Delhi to Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, SpiceJet said in a press statement that, “During boarding in Delhi, one passenger was behaving unruly and inappropriately, harassing and disturbing the cabin crew. The crew informed the Pilot in Command (PIC) and security staff of the same. The aforementioned passenger and a co-passenger who were traveling together were offloaded and handed over to the security team.”
