Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Madhya Pradesh government minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has abolished the black laws of the British regime and implemented three new laws to provide quick and easy justice to the people.
He said that Prime Minister Modi has not only given the message of cleanliness through the cleanliness campaign in the country, but has also done the work of removing garbage from all the areas.
In the launching ceremony of noted jurist Ashwani Dubey’s book ‘End of Colonial Laws – From Vision to Action’ organized at Sahitya Akademi auditorium in New Delhi, Shri Vijayvargiya said that this book is very useful not only for the people associated with the legal world, but also for the common mass.
He said that along with abrogation of Article 370, construction of a Grand temple of Lord Shri Ram at Ayodhya and abolition of triple talaq, our prime minister has set a bench mark.
National Green Tribunal judge Justice Sudhir Agarwal said that since the Vedic period, there has been a long tradition of justice in India. Justice was considered synonymous with religion. Justice and religion were divinely based systems. Justice Agrawal said that after the arrival of this book, it is very easy to understand the new laws. He said that crores of cases are pending in various courts of the country, even cases are pending in many High Courts for more than 50 years. He said that the new laws will speed up the justice process. Author Ashwani Dubey has raised this matter seriously in his book.
Retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India, Justice Naveen Sinha said that Ashwani Dubey’s book will prove useful for jurists as well as those studying law. He said that by simplifying the laws, people will get justice quickly and the judiciary will be strengthened.
Chairing the gathering of the program, senior journalist and former President of Editors Guild of India Padma Shree Dr. Alok Mehta said that the book End of Colonial Laws – From Vision to Action, along with giving information about new laws, gives authentic information about the ancient justice system of India. He said that judges and lawyers are given the status of God because they provide justice. For this reason, honesty is essential in the profession of advocacy.
Senior Advocate Shri Rakesh Khanna said that the new laws have been described in depth in the first book written about the new laws, End of Colonial Laws – From Vision to Action. Dr. Pradeep Kulshrestha, Dean of School of Law, Bennett University, Rohit Pandey, former Secretary of the Supreme Court Bar Association had expressed their views. Important personalities from the judiciary world participated in the inauguration ceremony.
