In a significant operation on Saturday, Sasaram police executed a crackdown that resulted in the seizure of a range of illegal items, including firearms, heroin, laptops, and mobile phones.

his decisive action was prompted by intelligence regarding concealed drugs in several residences located in the Mubarakganj area, which is under the jurisdiction of the Nagar police station.

According to police officials, investigations revealed not only the presence of hidden drugs but also an active illegal drug trade occurring in the neighborhood. Rohtas Superintendent of Police (SP) Roshan Kumar reported that law enforcement carried out raids on approximately six to seven identified houses.

These operations led to the detention of ten individuals suspected of involvement in these illicit activities.

The police are continuing their investigations to uncover more details about the drug supply network operating in the region. “The matter is being investigated. So far, more than 10 people have been detained and are being questioned. Weapons and drugs have been recovered from these individuals.

Information about the total arrests will be shared only after interrogation, and the final count of recovered weapons will be disclosed at a later time. The raid is complete, but the investigation is ongoing,” Kumar stated.

As the police question those detained, they are gathering information on the extent of the illicit operations. A more detailed report regarding the number of weapons, cash, and drugs recovered will be provided soon. This operation highlights the police’s commitment to addressing illegal activities and maintaining public safety in the region.
