In South Bengaluru, the Begur Police have recently apprehended an individual who allegedly committed murder by attacking his live-in partner’s head with a pressure cooker in the Miko Layout area of Begur.
The deceased has been identified as Deeva (24) originally from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, while the accused has been identified as Vaishnav, hailing from Kollam, Kerala.
Vaishnav is currently under arrest, and the Bengaluru Police are conducting interrogations.
As per police reports, this couple had been residing together in a rented apartment in Begur for the past 2 years. Also, they attended college together. Vaishnav, who was working as a marketing executive in a local firm, had been absconding since the alleged crime, and the police had been searching for him. The police successfully traced his location and arrested him.
According to the police, there had been ongoing disputes between the couple, with some neighbors also attesting to this fact. However, the police assert that no complaints had been filed by either party previously.
