Punjab Police Arrests Pro-Khalistan Operatives for Slogan Inscriptions

The Punjab Police on Tuesday stated that it has apprehended three members of the proscribed organization Sikhs for Justice for inscribing pro-Khalistan slogans in Punjab, and Delhi.

Counter Intelligence Wing

The arrests were executed by the Counter-Intelligence wing in Bathinda, stated Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav.

“In a major breakthrough, Counter-Intelligence, Bathinda, and Bathinda Police have detained three #SFJ operatives for disseminating Pro-Khalistan slogans in various public locations, including Bathinda, #Punjab & #Delhi, under the guidance of #NewYork-based mastermind Gurpatwant Pannun of Sikhs for Justice (#SFJ),” mentioned Yadav in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

When & Where?

The pro-Khalistan slogans were discovered inscribed on the walls of the district administrative complex and court complex in Bathinda on April 27. Similar slogans also surfaced at the Jhandewalan Metro Station and Karol Bagh Metro Station in Delhi on May 9, 2024.
