Rajasthan Railway Police Uncover Juggler Gang’s Infant Kidnappings

In a significant revelation by the Rajasthan Railway Police, the team uncovered the kidnappings of infants by a juggler gang, commonly known as the “madari gang,” who intended to groom them into street performers, or “jamura.”

Arrested Individuals

Police have apprehended five members of the juggler gang, identified as Mukesh Madari, Karna, Arjun, Prem, and a woman named Lajjo. According to police officials, these individuals have led a nomadic lifestyle, earning their livelihood through juggling, but they originally hail from Bhiwani, Haryana.

This case came to light when a child was abducted from Kota Railway Junction while his father was purchasing tickets on May 5. The father lodged a complaint, prompting the investigative team to commence their inquiry.

After scrutinizing over 500 CCTVs, it was revealed that the gang members had abducted the child from the railway station and transported him to Bhopal via Jhalawar.

“Following certain leads, the teams reached Jaipur, where an intensive search operation was carried out at various locations on Tuesday night. This effort led to the rescue of the four-year-old boy and another minor who had been abducted a decade ago,” stated Additional Director General (GRP) Anil Paliwal.

Search Operation Leads to More Children

During the search operation, a four-year-old child was rescued from a camp in Vidyadhar Nagar. Additionally, police rescued another boy who had been kidnapped ten years earlier from Gangapur City.

Upon interrogation, the perpetrators confessed to the abduction of the recently rescued child as well. Police officials are currently endeavoring to reunite the child with his family by scouring records of missing children.
