Salman Khan’s Residence Firing: Mumbai Police Arrests One More Gang Member of Lawrence Bishnoi

Mumbai Police have apprehended yet another member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with the shooting incident outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence last month.

Arrested in Haryana

Officials informed on Tuesday that Harpal Singh (34), hailing from Fatehabad in Haryana, was arrested by a Mumbai crime branch team in his hometown on Monday evening. Singh was transported to Mumbai early Tuesday and is scheduled to appear before a court later today.

Firing Outside the Actor’s Home

This marks the sixth arrest related to the shooting incident. On April 14, two individuals on a motorcycle fired shots outside Khan’s residence at the Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra area before fleeing. Singh’s involvement came to light during the interrogation of Mohammed Rafique Chowdhary, another member of the Bishnoi gang arrested earlier in connection with the shooting.

Police stated that Singh instructed Chowdhary to conduct surveillance around Khan’s residence and provided him with Rs 2-3 lakh. Lawrence Bishnoi, presently incarcerated in Sabarmati Central Prison in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, along with his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi, suspected to be in the US or Canada, have been implicated in the shooting case.
