The court allowed the respondents to present their submissions by extending the interim order until the next listing date. The matter has been scheduled for further hearing on July 17.

The FIR was lodged against members of the fact-finding committee, including Annie Raja, a CPI leader.

The court directed the petitioner to provide a copy of the petition to the counsel assisting the solicitor general, who is representing the Manipur government.

The court ordered that no coercive steps be taken against the petitioner until 5 pm on July 14, 2023, based on the FIR registered on July 8, 2023.
