The Income Tax (IT) department conducted searches against AAP MLA Gulab Singh Yadav and others in Delhi on Saturday as part of a tax evasion investigation, according to official sources.
Yadav, aged 45, is a two-time legislator representing the Matiala seat in the Delhi Assembly.
The premises of the AAP MLA in Delhi’s Ghummanheda village and others are being raided as part of the tax evasion investigation. Tax officials are accompanied by the Delhi Police, the sources stated.
Certain documents have been recovered, and individuals have been questioned during the operation, the sources added.
