A 17-year-old boy was beaten to death in a fight over plucking mangoes near the Revati Railway Station (Ballia, Uttar Pradesh), as per police officials.
Bairia Circle Officer Mohammad Usman stated that Pankaj Sahni was fatally beaten on Sunday afternoon.
Pankaj was plucking mangoes from a tree near the railway station with his friends Sanjay, Deepankar, and Kush when two individuals arrived and assaulted him until he fell unconscious, according to the CO.
Usman mentioned that Pankaj was immediately rushed to the local government hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. Police have booked two men, Ram Swaroop Rajbhar and Chhotu, on charges of murder based on a complaint filed by Pankaj’s father, Jageshwar Sahni.
While Rajbhar has been arrested, a hunt is on for two more suspects, the CO added.
