Union Law Minister Inaugurates New Block of Bar Council of Delhi

A new “block” of the Bar Council of Delhi (BCD) office was inaugurated by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on August 23 (Friday), with several dignitaries in attendance, including the Acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Justice Manmohan.

The event also saw the presence of Bar Council of India Chairman, senior advocate Manan Kumar Mishra, along with other BCD officials.

In his remarks, Justice Manmohan emphasized the significance of infrastructure, noting that the inauguration marked a momentous occasion. He urged young lawyers to uphold the high standards of the bar and ensure proper legal representation for litigants.

The judge further encouraged senior lawyers to offer guidance and fair remuneration to their younger colleagues, and he highlighted the role of the BCD as an elder statesman in supporting junior lawyers.
