Bhadohi court on Friday convicted a woman for culpable homicide of a 4-month-old son of her sister-in-law and sentenced her to 3 years of imprisonment.
As per the reports, Munni Devi (45) dropped four bricks one after the other, onto the infant’s head from a residential rooftop, which resulted in the boy’s death, Bhadohi Superintendent of Police Meenakshi Katyayan.
The incident took place in a village under Gopiganj Police Station. Following the occurrence, Munni Devi was charged under section 304 of the Indian Penal Code.
Additional District Government Advocate Pravesh Tiwari stated, that Additional District and Sessions Judge Subodh Singh, presiding over Fast Track Court I, convicted her on Thursday.
