A complaint has been recently filed against ‘Adipurush’ film starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon before the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) board.
Sanatan Dharma Pracharak Sanjay Dinanath Tiwari filed this complaint through Bombay High Court Advocates Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra.
According to the lawsuit, the filmmaker and artists have committed numerous severe errors in the film’s posters in the past.
The complaint further noted that there is a strong possibility that if errors can be made by the makers during the poster and teaser releases, then such flaws can also be found in the film, thereby hurting the religious sentiments of the people of Sanatan Dharma. It also claimed that there may be a situation of serious threat to law and order in the country.
The complaint sought a special screen test and censorship before the film’s theatrical release in June 2023.
The film’s trailer, directed by Om Raut, was officially released by the producers on May 11. Previously, the film’s teaser was not well received by the crowd, owing primarily to the VFX. The creators were chastised for it, and months later, a new and improved trailer for ‘Adipurush’ was released.
