Ankita Bhandari Murder Case: Uttarakhand Police File Charge Sheet Against All Three Accused

On Saturday the Uttarakhand Police has filed a charge sheet against the three persons accused in the murder of 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari before the Kotdwar Judicial Court.

Additional Director General (ADG) V Murugesan of Uttarakhand Police in a press conference said that “We are going to file a 500-page charge sheet within 90 days in this case. Around 100 people have been examined in the matter,”

The charge sheet has been filed under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Unethical Business Prevention Act (IBPA), he added

He also said that “The charge sheet is being sent to the Hon’ble Court against the three accused under IPC section 302, 201, 120B, 354A and 5(1)V of the Unethical Business Prevention Act. The Narco test and other points are being discussed in the said incident,”

Ankita, was reported missing for at least six days before the officials found her body.

Pulkit Arya, Ankit Gupta and Saurabh Bhaskar, have been arrested in the case.
