Ankita Murder Case: Court To Pronounce Verdict On Narco & Polygraph Tests Of All 3 Accused

The Kotdwar court will pronounce its verdict on January 10 in the matter of narco and polygraph tests of the three accused in the Ankita murder case. Judicial Magistrate First Class Bhavna Pandey will decide whether narco test of accused Pulkit, Saurabh and Ankit will be done or not. Earlier on December 17, the Uttarakhand Police had filed a charge sheet in the Kotdwar court against three people accused in the murder of 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari.

On December 17 the Uttarkhand Police has filed a charge sheet against the three persons accused in the murder of 19-year-old Ankita Bhandari before the Kotdwar Judicial Court.

Additional Director General (ADG) V Murugesan of Uttarakhand Police in a press conference said that “We have filed a 500-page chargesheet within 90 days in this case. Around 100 people have been examined in the matter,”

The chargesheet has been filed under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Unethical Business Prevention Act (IBPA), he added

He also said that “The chargesheet is being sent to the Hon’ble Court against the three accused under IPC section 302, 201, 120B, 354A and 5(1)V of the Unethical Business Prevention Act. The Narco test and other points are being discussed in the said incident,”

Ankita, was reported missing for at least six days before the officials found her body.

Pulkit Arya, Ankit Gupta and Saurabh Bhaskar, have been arrested in the case.
